Leanne qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2009 from Oxford Brookes University and went onto complete her junior rotations in the NHS at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon gaining vital experience in the core areas of Physiotherapy including Respiratory, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal and Neurology. Leanne then went on to specialise in the management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, with a specialist interest in the management of Paediatric (Childrens) MSK conditions.
Within her current NHS role she works as a Lower Limb Specialist Physiotherapist, working collaboratively with Orthopaedic Consultants to offer the best patient care.
In 2016 Leanne completed the FA Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football qualification and started to work alongside the STFC Academy players offering pitchside first aid. In 2019 she was successful in securing her dream job as Lead Physiotherapist for the Superleague Netball side Team Bath. Her highlights were being involved as part of the team behind the team in the 20/21 Superleague Grand Final and the 2021 Fast5 Netball All-Star competition which saw Team Bath crowned as Champions for the first time.
Leanne is registered with the HCPC and is a Member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, The Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists and is Safeguarding Level 3 trained and DBS checked. She holds the PHICIS Level 2 and is currently studying Foundation Units with The Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine.
